  The second week of 卓越之夏 brings our second through fifth-grade campers to “数学热” where they will apply 数学 to everyday activities through the use of games, 工艺品, 以及创造性解决问题的机会. The focus during “数学热” is to reinforce basic 数学 facts and grade-level appropriate concepts, 以及探索和发现周围世界的数字.

  Our last week of 卓越之夏 will provide an opportunity for our second through fifth-grade campers to continue to practice and apply reading, 写作, and 数学 skills that were reinforced in the previous weeks by integrating these skills into magical science experiments and activities. The focus of “科学魔术” is to allow our campers to work through science-process skills, 比如调查, which will provide an opportunity for the campers to reinforce an understanding of science concepts through the use of scientific inquiry to 开发 explanations and nurture curiosity.
